Applies to every ScrubsTalk account — practitioner or partner

You can delete your ScrubsTalk account yourself, permanently, at any time. No request has to be approved and nobody on our team has to act: the deletion runs the moment you confirm it.

From the app

Open your Profile (the last tab) and tap the gear icon to open Settings.
Open Sign in & security.
Choose Delete account permanently.
Type the confirmation word the screen asks for, then confirm.

From a browser — if the app is no longer installed

The web version of ScrubsTalk is the same app with the same Settings. Open app.scrubstalk.com, sign in with the e-mail address and password of the account, and follow the four steps above. If you have forgotten the password, use Forgot password on the sign-in page first; the reset e-mail goes to the account's address.

By asking us

If you would rather not do it yourself, or you cannot sign in, e-mail us from the account's own e-mail address — our address is on the support page — and ask for the account to be deleted. We reply to that address to confirm, then delete the account.

If the account's e-mail address is no longer yours, write to us from any address, or from any ScrubsTalk account you can open (Settings → Help & support → Contact us), and name the account to be deleted. We will need to confirm that it is yours before acting. You may also complain to the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA).

What deletion removes

Deletion removes your profile, posts, comments, messages, connections, job applications, job alerts, event registrations and uploaded files — your photos, your verification document and your résumés — together with your usage analytics and the record of where you opened the app from. It cannot be undone. Your sign-in itself is deleted last, so the e-mail address can be used to create a new account later, which starts empty.

What you published leaves other members’ screens with it: your posts, comments and messages, the comments and replies under them, reposts of them that add no words, your case questions and your answers in other members’ cases, your job postings and the applications sent to them, and your expert requests; for an organisation, also its events with their feed cards, their registrations and the “Going”, “Interested” and “Attended” choices members made on them. Every notification other members received about your account or any of these goes too; the administrators’ notices that the account was deleted stay, as named below. Members registered for a deleted organisation’s events are not notified; the event simply leaves their list.

Other members keep only their own words: a post that quoted yours stays without it, a mention of you in their own text stays as they wrote it, and a case question put to you alone is closed, not passed to the specialty.

What is kept, and for how long

Survey answers in a closed study. Answers you gave in a survey study that had already closed before you deleted your account are kept, but without your identity — the link between you and them is severed and cannot be restored — and are erased 24 months after that study closed. Answers in a study that has not closed are deleted with your account.
Crash reports (the error, the screen and the app version, scrubbed of e-mail addresses and long numbers) stay with the link to your account removed, and are deleted 90 days after the error was last recorded.
The administrators’ notices that the account was deleted, carrying the name on it.
Moderation records — reports about the account and what administrators did about them — keep the account's identifier. If we delete the account at your request, our record of that deletion also keeps the name, the role, the e-mail's domain and the last four digits of the SCFHS number.
The log of administrators’ actions. For each post an administrator removes, and each comment an administrator removes from a post that stays, this log keeps the author’s identifier and the first 120 characters of the text, so that administrators can be held to account for every removal they make. If we delete the account — at your request or otherwise — that covers all of its posts and comments; deleting it yourself adds no line about your own posts or comments. The log is not deleted with the account and has no fixed end date at present.
Your files, for up to three days. They can no longer be opened through our service from the moment of deletion. They are erased from our server within two nights, and from the backup copy of files by the second night — within three days.
Backups. Short-term recovery copies of the database roll over within about four days, and our encrypted nightly database backups, kept in Riyadh, within 30 days, so deleted data has left them 30 days after the deletion.
Copies outside our servers. A copy held by our network provider or by a browser expires within an hour. The app on other people’s devices clears an image it has not shown for 30 days; nothing on our side can reach that copy sooner.
The sign-in screen of a device. A device or browser where the account was remembered at sign-in (“Remember me on this device”, ticked by default) keeps its e-mail address, name and photo on the sign-in screen until someone taps “Remove from this device” there or another account is remembered in its place.
Sign-in records and server logs. The sign-in service’s record of each sign-up, sign-in, session renewal and password reset (the account’s identifier, e-mail address and connection address), and our servers’ technical logs, which hold connection addresses, e-mail addresses and the addresses of the pages and files requested, are not deleted with the account. They have no fixed end date at present.
What was already sent. E-mails and phone notifications already delivered cannot be recalled. A line already printed about an event in a past events digest stays: its title, dates, city and link, never the organiser.
What others already hold. A résumé an employer has already downloaded, contact details you chose to share with it, and registration details an event organiser has already copied are outside ScrubsTalk and under their responsibility.

Beyond these, we keep only what the law requires us to keep, for as long as it requires. The Privacy Policy ("Retention and deletion") says the same.

ScrubsTalk is operated by Social Solutions Company, commercial registration 7055165174, the controller of your personal data under the Personal Data Protection Law. ScrubsTalk is an independent service, not affiliated with or endorsed by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties; our team checks a practitioner’s SCFHS number against the Commission’s register to verify their registration.

تستطيع حذف حسابك في ScrubsTalk بنفسك، نهائيًا، في أي وقت. لا يحتاج الأمر إلى موافقة، ولا إلى تدخّل أحد من فريقنا: يُنفَّذ الحذف لحظة تأكيدك له.

من التطبيق

افتح ملفك الشخصي (التبويب الأخير) ثم اضغط رمز الترس لفتح الإعدادات.
افتح تسجيل الدخول والأمان.
اختر حذف الحساب نهائيًا.
اكتب كلمة التأكيد التي تطلبها الشاشة، ثم أكّد.

من المتصفح — إن لم يعد التطبيق مثبَّتًا

نسخة الويب من ScrubsTalk هي التطبيق نفسه بالإعدادات نفسها. افتح app.scrubstalk.com، وسجّل الدخول ببريد الحساب وكلمة مروره، ثم اتّبع الخطوات الأربع أعلاه. وإن نسيت كلمة المرور فاستخدم نسيت كلمة المرور في صفحة تسجيل الدخول أولًا؛ تصل رسالة إعادة التعيين إلى بريد الحساب.

بطلب منك

إن فضّلت ألّا تحذفه بنفسك، أو تعذّر عليك تسجيل الدخول، فراسلنا من بريد الحساب نفسه — عنواننا في صفحة الدعم — واطلب حذف الحساب. نردّ على ذلك البريد للتأكيد، ثم نحذف الحساب.

وإن لم يعد بريد الحساب ملكك، فراسلنا من أي بريد، أو من أي حساب في ScrubsTalk تستطيع فتحه (الإعدادات ← المساعدة والدعم ← تواصل معنا)، وسمِّ الحساب المطلوب حذفه. وسنحتاج إلى التأكد من أنه حسابك قبل التصرّف. ولك كذلك أن تتقدّم بشكوى إلى الهيئة السعودية للبيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي (سدايا).

ما الذي يزيله الحذف

يزيل الحذف ملفك ومنشوراتك وتعليقاتك ورسائلك وارتباطاتك وطلبات التوظيف وتنبيهات الوظائف وتسجيلك في الفعاليات وملفاتك المرفوعة — صورك ووثيقة التوثيق والسيرة الذاتية — ومعها بيانات استخدامك وسجل الأماكن التي فُتح منها التطبيق. ولا يمكن التراجع عنه. ويُحذف حساب الدخول نفسه في النهاية، فيمكن استخدام البريد الإلكتروني لاحقًا لإنشاء حساب جديد يبدأ فارغًا.

ويختفي ما نشرته من شاشات بقية الأعضاء مع حسابك: منشوراتك وتعليقاتك ورسائلك، والتعليقات والردود تحتها، وإعادات نشرها التي لا تضيف كلامًا، وأسئلة الحالات التي طرحتها وإجاباتك في حالات غيرك، ووظائفك المنشورة والطلبات المرسلة إليها، وطلبات الخبراء التي أرسلتها؛ وإن كان الحساب لجهة، ففعالياتها مع بطاقاتها في الرئيسية وتسجيلاتها، وما اختاره الأعضاء عليها من «سأحضر» و«مهتم» و«حضرت». ويُحذف معها كل تنبيه وصل إلى الأعضاء الآخرين عن حسابك أو عن شيء من ذلك، وتبقى إشعارات المشرفين بحذف الحساب، كما يرد أدناه. ولا يُرسَل إلى المسجَّلين في فعاليات جهةٍ حُذف حسابها أي إشعار؛ تختفي الفعالية من قائمتهم فحسب.

ولا يبقى للأعضاء الآخرين إلا كلامهم: المنشور الذي اقتبس منشورك يبقى دونه، وإشارتهم إليك في نصوصهم تبقى كما كتبوها، وسؤال الحالة الموجَّه إليك وحدك يُغلق ولا يُحال إلى التخصص.

ما الذي يبقى، وإلى متى

إجابات دراسة أُغلقت. إجاباتك في دراسة استبيانية كانت قد أُغلقت قبل حذف حسابك تبقى، لكن دون هويتك — يُقطع الرابط بينك وبينها قطعًا لا رجعة فيه — وتُمحى بعد 24 شهرًا من إغلاق الدراسة. أما إجاباتك في دراسة لم تُغلق بعد فتُحذف مع حسابك.
تقارير الأعطال (الخطأ والشاشة وإصدار التطبيق، بعد حذف عناوين البريد والأرقام الطويلة) تبقى مفصولةً عن حسابك، وتُحذف بعد 90 يومًا من آخر تسجيل للخطأ.
إشعارات المشرفين بحذف الحساب، تحمل الاسم الذي كان عليه.
سجلات الإشراف — البلاغات عن الحساب وما اتخذه المشرفون بشأنها — تحتفظ بمعرّف الحساب. وإن حذفنا الحساب بطلب منك، احتفظ سجل الحذف أيضًا بالاسم ونوع الحساب ونطاق البريد وآخر أربعة أرقام من رقم الهيئة.
سجل إجراءات المشرفين. لكل منشور يزيله مشرف، ولكل تعليق يزيله مشرف من منشور باقٍ، يحتفظ هذا السجل بمعرّف الكاتب وبأول 120 حرفًا من النص، ليمكن مساءلة المشرفين عن كل ما يزيلونه. وإن حذفنا الحساب — بطلب منك أو بغيره — شمل ذلك منشوراته وتعليقاته كلها؛ أمّا حذفك له بنفسك فلا يضيف إلى السجل سطرًا عن منشوراتك أو تعليقاتك. ولا يُحذف هذا السجل مع الحساب، وليس له موعد حذف محدّد حاليًا.
ملفاتك، ثلاثة أيام على الأكثر. لا يمكن فتحها من خدمتنا منذ لحظة الحذف، وتُمحى من خادمنا خلال ليلتين، ومن النسخة الاحتياطية للملفات بحلول الليلة الثانية، أي خلال ثلاثة أيام.
النسخ الاحتياطية. تتجدّد نسخ الاسترجاع القصيرة لقاعدة البيانات خلال نحو أربعة أيام، ونسخنا الاحتياطية الليلية المشفّرة لقاعدة البيانات، المحفوظة في الرياض، خلال 30 يومًا، فتخلو من بياناتك المحذوفة بعد 30 يومًا من الحذف.
نسخ خارج خوادمنا. ما احتفظ به مزوّد الشبكة أو المتصفح من نسخة ينتهي خلال ساعة. أمّا التطبيق على أجهزة الآخرين فيمسح الصورة التي لم يعرضها 30 يومًا، ولا يصل إلى تلك النسخة شيء من جهتنا قبل ذلك.
شاشة الدخول في جهاز. الجهاز أو المتصفح الذي تذكّر الحساب عند الدخول («تذكّرني على هذا الجهاز»، وهو مفعّل مسبقًا) يُبقي بريده واسمه وصورته على شاشة الدخول، حتى يضغط أحدٌ «إزالة من هذا الجهاز» فيها أو يتذكّر الجهاز حسابًا آخر مكانه.
سجلات الدخول وسجلات الخوادم. سجل خدمة الدخول لكل إنشاء حساب ودخول وتجديد للجلسة واستعادة كلمة مرور (معرّف الحساب وبريده وعنوان الاتصال)، وسجلات خوادمنا التقنية، وفيها عناوين الاتصال وعناوين البريد وعناوين الصفحات والملفات المطلوبة، لا تُحذف مع الحساب، وليس لها موعد حذف محدّد حاليًا.
ما أُرسل قبل الحذف. رسائل البريد وإشعارات الجوال التي وصلت لا يمكن استرجاعها. والسطر الذي نُشر عن فعالية في نشرة فعاليات سابقة يبقى: عنوانها وتواريخها ومدينتها ورابطها، دون اسم المنظّم أبدًا.
ما لدى غيرنا. السيرة الذاتية التي نزّلتها جهة عمل، وبيانات التواصل التي اخترت مشاركتها معها، وبيانات التسجيل التي نسخها منظّم فعالية، كلها خارج ScrubsTalk وعلى مسؤوليتهم.

وفيما عدا ذلك لا نحتفظ إلا بما يُلزمنا النظام بالاحتفاظ به، وللمدة التي يحدّدها. وتقول سياسة الخصوصية («مدة الاحتفاظ والحذف») الشيء نفسه.
